Q: What Packaging Trends Are You Most Excited About in 2025?

Sarah: Definitely the move toward multi-functional packaging—things customers can reuse, store, or display. Also, digital integration like QR codes for tutorials or recycling info. And soft neutrals with embossed textures are replacing loud prints in many industries.

Q: What’s the Most Common Packaging Mistake You See?

Sarah: Overcomplicating the design. Brands try to squeeze too much onto a small box. Clean layout and hierarchy win every time. Also—ignoring the customer experience. If it’s hard to open, it leaves a negative impression.

Q: Where Do You Get Creative Inspiration?

Sarah: Nature, architecture, even vintage typography. But most of all, from the product itself. Great packaging is about amplifying what makes the product special—not overshadowing it.

Q: One Piece of Advice for Small Brands?

Sarah: Think beyond the box. Your packaging is part of the product experience. Even if you’re on a budget, details like a branded sticker or thoughtful insert card can leave a lasting impact.
