Imperial Paper Company has a sizable staff of experienced, award winning design engineers with access to a state-of-the-art design center. Our design center combines the latest CAD-CAM and graphics software (Adobe’s Creative Cloud, including Illustrator and Photoshop) with state-of-the-art equipment to design and manufacture the best packaging or displays for your products.

Do you need artwork, samples, or a new logo? Imperial Paper can provide them all. We know that your package has to be designed to securely protect its contents from the stresses of shipping, handling, and stacking. Our design process starts with our design specialists analyzing the products to be contained, in addition to the required protection and presentation. Next up is determining the purpose of the package – whether it’s being shipped, handled, stored, or displayed – followed by manufacturing and distribution considerations, like compatibility with automated carton erectors and material handling equipment. The designers then research the marketing and brand enhancement of the packaging. Regulatory considerations (if shipping hazardous material, for example), the project timeline, and the project costs round out the analysis process, along with space optimization and package palletization software to maximize container end-use. Once it’s through the design phase, the completed packaging undergoes edge crush testing and Mullen testing, which measures how much pressure is required to puncture a paperboard package and indicates its load carrying capacity under specific conditions. All throughout this entire process, our design and manufacturing team closely adheres to your project specifications.

Imperial Paper Company has designed and manufactured packages and displays for bakeries, auto parts, air conditioners, cosmetics, personal care items, wine, and other beverages. Contact us today to learn more and join our client ranks!
